The NHS: the light that keeps electricians going
Sure, we can fix your lighting, your circuits, your fuseboards. That’s what we electricians do (well – actually we do a whole lot more than that, but when you think electricians, you think lights). But without the NHS, we simply couldn’t do that. We turn the lights on, but they are the light. The light that keeps us going as an industry. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve had to be taken into A&E over the years – thankfully only for minor things like cut fingers. But that’s just the start of it, because every electrician has a family. I recently lost both parents, one to dementia and the other to a stroke – both excruciatingly cruel diseases. I don’t think I’d have coped if it weren’t for the support of the NHS, let alone been able to return to work. So on behalf of electricians everywhere,
I want to say thank you to the NHS. For being the light that never sleeps and is always there. Never have we owed so much to our healthcare professionals. #NHS #NHSheroes#ThankyouNHS #NHSworkers #NHSstaff
